An 8 member Media Delegation arrived from Chennai, India for a media Familiarization Tour organized by Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB) on 8th September 2024. The delegation comprises Journalists from leading Chennai based media platforms namely, Deccan Chronicle – English Daily, Tourism India – B2B Magazine, Malayala Manorama – Digital, SUN Group TV, Mathrubhumi, DT Next – English Daily and Provoke – Magazine – Lifestyle & Travel.
The group will explore Negombo, Bentota, Galle, Udawalawe, Hambantota and Colombo during their tour in Sri Lanka from 8-13 September 2024. SLCB welcomed the delegation upon their arrival at BIA with the assistance of the staff at the Tourist Information Counter (TIC).
The programme was organized as a part of SLCB Marketing Plan 2024 and assisted by the Sri Lanka Deputy High Commission in Chennai, India and the SriLankan Airlines.
