Sri Lanka Tourism made a resounding impact at OTM 2025, the “Leading Travel Trade Show in India and Asia,” held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai from 31st January to 2nd February 2025. OTM was organized by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB). Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB), attended the OTM in collaboration with SLTPB and showcased the island nation’s unparalleled travel and MICE experiences. There were 72 leading local travel and tourism companies attended the programme.

This vibrant and dynamic space brought together 47 tour operators, 23 hoteliers, the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, and SriLankan Airlines, offering a comprehensive representation of the country’s diverse tourism offerings. From pristine beaches and lush landscapes to cultural heritage and luxury accommodations, the pavilion highlighted why Sri Lanka remains a top destination for global travelers.

India, identified as Sri Lanka’s number one year-round market, played a central role in the discussions and engagements at OTM 2025. With its proximity, cultural affinity, and growing demand for diverse travel experiences, India continues to be a key focus for Sri Lanka’s tourism sector.
